The best dental practice management software in Spain (2026)

Nine programs used today in Spanish dental clinics, who each one suits best and what to check before you choose.

This list was written by the Dentasys team; Dentasys comes first. Data on the other programs comes from their official websites (checked in October 2026).

In short

For a dental clinic in Spain in 2026, our first choice is Dentasys: cloud-based, €80/month + VAT with unlimited users and no add-on modules, a WhatsApp assistant and an optional AI voice receptionist. Gesden stands out for its installed base and on-site support; Clinic Cloud for Doctoralia; Nubimed for entry price; Dentalpin for open source.

How we built this list

No program is the best for every clinic. We checked the same eight points for each one, using what the vendor publishes; if something is not on their website, we say so.

Published price
Whether the website says what it costs and how it grows (per user, diary or module), or you have to ask for a quote.
Cloud or installed
Whether it runs in the browser or has to be installed on a computer or server at the clinic.
AI
What the artificial intelligence actually does: write notes, prepare treatment plans, read X-rays or carry out tasks.
WhatsApp
Whether it sends reminders on WhatsApp and whether an assistant books appointments by chat.
Voice receptionist
Whether an AI answers the phone when reception can't and books the appointment, and whether it costs extra.
Migration
Whether they move your data from your previous program and what it costs.
Support in Spain
How and when they help you, and whether there is a team in Spain.
Languages
Which languages the team can work in and patient documents come out in, Catalan included.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best practice management software for a dental clinic in Spain?
It depends on the clinic. For a dental clinic that wants a fixed fee with unlimited users and no missed calls, our choice is Dentasys. For multi-specialty centres, Clinic Cloud, Nubimed, Klinikare or DriCloud fit well; for on-site support, Gesden; built-in accounting, MNProgram; open source, Dentalpin; lots of orthodontics, Dentalink.
Why is Dentasys first?
Because the Dentasys team wrote this list, and we say so at the top. So you can check everything, data on the other programs comes from their official websites, linked at the end, and we also say what Dentasys does not have.
Which dental programs publish their prices?
In October 2026, Dentasys, Clinic Cloud, Nubimed, DriCloud and Dentalpin (the software is free; you pay for the server) publish prices. MNProgram gives the amount through a calculator. Gesden does not publish its base price, and Klinikare and Dentalink work by quote.
Which programs have an AI voice receptionist?
According to their websites: Dentasys (optional, €9/month + €0.30/min, plus VAT), Nubimed and Klinikare (price not published), DriCloud via Agendavia (contracted separately) and Dentalink as an add-on. Clinic Cloud has Noa Reception in early access and Gesden a switchboard assistant in its Pack Premium.
Is cloud software better than installed software?
With the cloud you need no server, the vendor handles backups and you log in from any computer or tablet. Installed or self-hosted software gives you full control of the server, but someone has to maintain it. Almost every program here runs in the cloud; Gesden G5 is installed and Dentalpin runs on your own server.
Can I switch programs without losing my data?
Yes, if the new vendor handles the migration. Nubimed, Clinic Cloud and MNProgram include it; DriCloud is free with their importer or from €300 if they do it. At Dentasys we migrate from whatever program you use: €500 + VAT, free on the annual plan.
What is dental practice management software?
It is the software a practice uses to run its diary, clinical records with an odontogram, treatment plans, invoicing and patient reminders. Almost all of them now run in the cloud; the ones that suit a dental practice best add WhatsApp, signed consent forms and AI that takes work off reception and the dentist.
What should dental software have in 2026?
At a minimum: a diary per dentist and surgery, odontogram and periodontal chart, clinical records with signed consent forms, phased treatment plans, invoicing, WhatsApp reminders and data hosted in the EU under the GDPR. Our guide to dental practice software goes through it point by point.
