Dasy, the artificial intelligence assistant for running your dental clinic
Reception, dentists and management lose hours on tasks that can be explained in one sentence. With Dasy, you explain them in that sentence, typing or speaking, and find the work ready.
In short
Dasy is an artificial intelligence assistant that lives inside Dentasys. Ask her in your own words, typing or speaking, for an appointment, a treatment plan, a prescription, a recall or the month's figures, and she prepares it on a card. Nothing changes until you press 'Accept'. She's included in the subscription, with 300 AI credits a month.
What Dasy is (and what she isn't)
Dasy is an artificial intelligence, not a person. She's on the home screen, where she greets you and tells you what's pending, and on any other screen with one click or the Ctrl + K shortcut. You can type to her or talk through the microphone, and she replies in writing and out loud.
Dasy works for the clinic team, not for patients: patients are looked after by the WhatsApp assistant and the voice receptionist. And she doesn't diagnose: clinical decisions belong to the dentist.
Nothing changes without your permission
When you ask her for something, Dasy doesn't do it on the spot: she shows you a card with everything she's going to do, and it only happens if you press 'Accept'. If something isn't right, you press 'Cancel' and tell her what to change. You can ask her for several things at once and choose which ones to accept.
Dasy has the same permissions as you. If your user can't see billing or change the settings, Dasy won't do it for you either.
With a patient's record open
If you have a patient's record open, Dasy knows who you're talking about: 'open their X-rays', 'prepare a treatment plan', 'write them a prescription for amoxicillin'. Among other things, she can:
- Prepare an appointment, a treatment plan, a prescription or a lab order for them.
- Change a detail on their record or chart the existing dental work they arrive with.
- Set a recall or create a task for a colleague.
- Save photos, PDFs or Word documents you give her to their record, or put together a before-and-after case.
- Prepare a consent form to send for signature on WhatsApp, after the dentist has signed it.
The clinic's figures, in one question
Ask her 'how much have we taken this month?', 'what is each dentist's production?' or 'how many treatment plans are awaiting acceptance?'. She answers with a summary, a card with the figures and a button to open the report screen.
She also prepares files for your accountant and the bank: the Excel for tax form 347, all of a month's invoices in a single PDF or a SEPA batch file to collect direct debit receipts.
Set up the clinic by talking
Dasy helps you set up the clinic: adding a lab and its products, changing the price of a treatment, adding a bank holiday or changing a dentist's hours. She shows you what's there now and what there will be before changing it.
And she drafts document templates, such as a consent form, from scratch or from a PDF or Word document you already had. The template stays as a draft until you review and publish it.
Your help for learning Dentasys
If you don't know how to do something, ask her: 'how do I block out some hours in the diary?'. Dasy answers using the manual and, if there's a video that explains it, takes you to the exact minute. These how-to questions don't use credits, even if the month's credits have run out.
Privacy and AI credits
To answer you, Dasy uses an external artificial intelligence model, but patients reach it as P1, P2…, with no name, phone number or ID number. Only you see your conversations with Dasy, and they're deleted automatically after 30 days.
Dasy is included in the Dentasys subscription (€80/month + VAT), with no extra modules. Each query uses 1 credit of the 300 AI credits the subscription includes every month for the whole clinic. If they run out, you can wait until the 1st or top up with a pack of 250 credits for €15 + VAT.
